Clearasil Ultra Acne Solution System

Clearasil, also spelled (or misspelled?) sometimes as Clearacil or Creasil, has a three-step acne kit called Ultra Acne Solution System. It is comprised of StayClear Daily Face Wash, StayClear Daily Toner and StayClear Daily Lotion. The kit also includes the QuickStart Treatment Cream as a bonus product.

According to the manufacturer of Clearasil, the whole kit is designed to provide a three-step acne cure and keep the skin clear. The facial wash is said to be formulated to help prevent acne breakouts by exfoliating and deep-cleansing the pores, while the toner is designed to revitalize the skin. The lotion, Clearacil makers reveal, is formulated to hydrate the skin, while the bonus treatment cream acts as a quick solution to occasional breakouts.

Our Opinion

Most of the comments from buyers that we have gathered are positive. However, there aren't a lot of reviews on this product that can be found so we remain a bit skeptical about its effectiveness. Despite the small number of reviews, positive feedback is still positive feedback, right? The good thing is that we have yet to read anything about it being a crappy product, nor have we heard complaints for adverse reactions or lack of results.

Our Verdict

Seemed like a good enough bet. The three-way treatment process seemed to work. Although some of Clearasil's products have received negative reviews on their own, the combination of these three (or four if you include the bonus treatment cream) seemed to have done the trick. We recommend it primarily because of the lack of claims of adverse effects.

Directions for Use

Facial wash - Wet face and gently massage on the whole area. Rinse off thoroughly with warm water. Use twice daily.

Toner - After washing the face with the facial wash, moisten a cotton ball with the toner and smooth over face. Allow the liquid to dry. Use twice daily.

Lotion - After the toner, apply the lotion to the entire face. Do not rinse. Use twice daily.

Treatment cream - After applying the lotion, apply a thin layer of the cream to acne-affected areas. Use once every night for three nights or until the pimples disappear.
